What do we offer?

Food Service

Each meal brings a wonderful time of fellowship for our guests over healthy and delicious home-style meals prepared daily and served in our newly renovated dining facility. The Emmaus Commons offers three unique dining spaces with a total capacity for 350 guests. Breakfast is served at 8:00am, Lunch at 12:15pm and Dinner at 5:30pm (6:00pm on Fridays). We seek to meet special dietary needs, providing we receive notice in advance.

Challenge Course

We can offer a personalized program for your group depending upon number and ages of participants. We offer low rope challenge course with eleven different initiatives. We also provide group activities that foster team and unity bonding, communication, cooperation and problem solving. As a group leader you can work with our staff prior to your retreat to customize the challenge course program that will work best for your group.

Waterfront

Casowasco has wonderful waterfront on Owasco Lake. We offer a variety of activities including boating with rowboats, canoes, and funyaks, The Blob, The Iceberg, two floating rafts, one with a slide, and the other with a diving board. Our waterfront is open typically from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Please consult with our registrar for more information regarding the waterfront.

Games & Activities

Casowasco has qualified staff prepared to lead your group in an action packed game or activity. We can provide the leadership and equipment to offer an activity as a back up for a rainy day or a night game to take your event to the next level – we have just the experience for your group in mind. We also have game and activity equipment available for group use. Subject to the availability of trained staff and weather permitting for outdoor events.

Sports & Fields

Casowasco has a large sports field for large group activities and games including a soccer field and archery range. A sand Volleyball court is located near the waterfront. We also have an asphalt basketball court. Sports equipment available includes footballs, soccer balls, basketballs, volleyballs, and frisbees.

Other Recreation Opportunities

Casowasco boasts many excellent walking trails for hiking and relaxing. Other options include ping pong, air hockey, and foosball. Our outdoor fireplaces includes an outdoor chapel and amphitheatre that seats approximately 200 people or each lodge has a private smaller outdoor fireplaces that seats 15-30 people. 

Weddings & Receptions

Getting married in the Finger Lakes is breathtaking! Please contact our registrar today to book your wedding in the Lakeview Chapel or outdoor Lakeside Chapel. Our staff will do their best to make this day special for you. Ask about our facilities for a wonderful reception too in our newly renovated dining room.
