Summershine

Live B.I.G. (your Belief in God) through music, Bible stories, crafts, and activities to help
you better understand God's purpose for your life. A 2:1 camper/counselor ratio is maintained (for Special Needs Campers).

Adult New Year’s Eve Celebration

Beautiful, historic Galilee Lodge on Owasco Lake will be the host building for fireside fun, fellowship, and time of heart-warming worship. Ring in 2010 with joy while surrounded by old and new friends. Sign the kids up for Camp Echo and have a stress-free ending to the holiday season. Relax and allow the beauty of Casowasco in the winter to rekindle your spirit!

NEW! Aqua Blast

Can’t stay away from the water? Great! Come join us for a ton of fun. Play loads of water games everyday, learn to snorkel as you search the shallow waters for treasure, take part in a water carnival, and get the chance to float in a boat. Have a blast as we splash through the week!

Awesome Outpost, Buggin’ Out!

Sleep out, camp out, cookout, and bug out! Come celebrate some of the most unique creatures in nature…BUGS! Catch, study, and start your own collection of everything creepy and crawly. Travel to Cayuga Nature Center to see amazing bugs in action. Enjoy all the great things of camp too: swimming, hiking, riding the Highlands trails the Blob, and worship every night.

Beach Bums

Too much fun to SCUBA dive, tube, and water-ski? No way! You can do all that plus bum around the shores of Owasco Lake. Don’t forget swimming, kayaking, and canoeing, plus show off your limbo skills at the Beach Bums Luau!

Beginnings

Start off on the right foot! Enjoy a two-day program with activities like crafts, swimming, a wagon ride, Bible stories, and games. Meet new friends while we learn about God.

Bikes, Boards, and Blades

Get ready for mountain biking, skate boarding, and rollerblading thrills! Ride the trails on a Diggler, hit the ramps and hot rails, or do some off road trail blazing on your bike. You can bring your own stuff to show your skills. Campers will travel to Ithaca Skate Park.

BMW (Beautiful Mountain Women)

Girls: there is a BMW in all of us! Come to the Highlands the best spa retreat Casowasco has ever seen! Stay out late, sleep in, and enjoy a spiritual spa treatment in the Highlands mud pit. Camp out in the hard woods one night, swim, hike, enjoy great food and other typical Highlands fun! Learn how God makes every girl gorgeous, no matter what her hair looks like.

Sign up now for the most rockin’ New Year’s Eve celebration around! This is your chance to hang out with your camp friends and relax! Camp Echo offers all the great things you love about camp…with SNOW! Summer staff returns to be with you at this cool event. Learn to play Jack Frost, rock out to your favorite songs, and see the combined Aldersgate and Casowasco slide show! Hosted at Casowasco.

Camp Getaway

Love coming to camp? Looking to get away and travel? Here’s your chance to do all that! Explore New York State on trips you’ll help to plan once you arrive at camp. You choose where you want to go and travel each day to cool destinations. You never know where the road will lead!

Get a sampling of the wackiness of You Can’t. The daily schedule will bring the whole group through all the things that make camp fun. Meet the Food Genie and other wacky characters who will appear when you least expect it! This is where the camp fun begins!

Club Casowasco

Like Club Med, only better! It’s a great way for you to meet friends and take part in your favorite activities, such as swimming, Blobbing, sailing, crafts, archery, challenge activities, and sports. A unique experience awaits you every day at the Club!

Creative Crafters

Focus your week on crafts! Celebrate our Creator by creating extra special projects! Showcase your talents using beads, Sculpey© clay, boondoggle, rubber stamps, and more. Make it and display it at your very own craft fair on Friday for your parents, and take it home to enjoy!

Director’s Invitational

By invitation only: The best leadership exploration event around. Participants will learn to use their skills for God’s glory. First time campers must be nominated by their churches or other local organizations. Alumni campers may register using the enclosed registration form and procedure. For more information or a nomination form, please contact Casowasco!
*First time nominee fees are paid in full by their nominating agency. Alumni may request sponsorship from their local church if they wish. There is no expectation that churches will be able to sponsor them.

Are you one of the 140 alumni of Director’s Invitational? Do you wish to reconnect and renew the relationships that you formed with other young leaders? Extreme Livin’

Learn to live a life that is Extreme! Share a week of adventure and fun while learning what it takes to make your life extreme everyday. Campers will travel to a high ropes course and go river rafting.

Family Camp

Need a vacation getaway for the entire family? Why not come to camp?! Experience all the fun activities as a family. Enjoy a few nights away and some quality time with each other. Staff members plan some kids – only time while adults take some time to relax, reflect, enjoy the lake or nap! An adult must accompany children and youth participants.

Karate for Christ

Kingdom Bound

Ever wanted to explore your faith in a radical way with thousands of other like-minded youth and adults? Then join us for Kingdom Bound - a 4-day Christian festival with awesome Christian bands, insightful seminars, meaningful worship experiences and great fellowship. Kingdom Bound is held at Darien Lake Theme Park. Plan to tent or stay in an RV at or near the park. This will allow us to experience all that Kingdom Bound has to offer, then spend an extra day riding the rides before you return to camp!

Muddapalooza

The sloppiest, messiest, MUDDIEST time you’ve ever had at camp! Highlands adventures, memorable camp fun, all with lots of – you guessed it – MUD!

Rookie Saddlers

For those with little to no riding experience. This special four-day version of Boots and Saddles is a great chance to sample horseback riding in a more relaxed schedule. You will travel to the stables three times.

Join God’s Team and celebrate the ultimate victory! Try your hand at different sports including soccer, basketball, and volleyball to name a few – with a focus on fun! The older age group will travel to Champions for Life for indoor soccer! Discover what it means to be a Christian athlete!

That’s Artrageous!

Take it up a notch and develop your awesome artistic talents. Work with clay and other mediums, and learn painting and drawing techniques. Draw, sculpt, and create. Showcase your masterpieces at an art show on Friday for family and friends!
