You have a million choices of how to spend your summer, so why not spend it at camp…a week to get away from the busyness of your life. We give you the full range of our activities so there is never a dull moment. Make new friends, reconnect with those that you may not have seen in a while, enjoy a new environment, and spend time growing closer to God.
Here’s a ONE DAY/OVERNIGHT adventure that will keep you thinking. Start by setting up camp in the wilderness at the Hogan Site. Physical, mental, social and spiritual challenges will then disclose the key to the next phase of the race. Canoeing, hiking, climbing, and investigating are just a few of the activities you will dabble in to complete your amazing journey.
Practice and perform as part of a jazz ensemble, jam with the group and learn to improvise. We’ve got some great charts for you to learn and perform locally and for your parents too. Musicians should have at least 2 years experience and be proficient on their instrument. Enjoy!
Deep into the wilderness we will go with our pod hammocks, complete with mosquito netting and canopies. You will discover God’s amazing creation while hiking, identifying plants and animals, cooking over a fire, hanging out (literally) with friends, and sleeping under the stars.
A one day adventure into the wilderness, accompanied by Aldersgate’s gentle and curious llamas will lead you into a deeper appreciation for our Creator’s unending love for us. While hiking you will have time for a meal cooked over a fire and a woodsman craft.
An adventure that takes you through a week of walking the paths of American Indian nations. Learn from their history, wisdom, and lore what it means to be a Christian Native American. Learn about nature, make crafts, dig at the archaeological site, cook over the open flame, and still have time for Base Camp activities. Explore how God worked long ago and how He works in your life today.
Play everyday! Board games, sports, adventure, puzzles, scavenger hunts, water games, field games, forest games. Bring your favorite sports gear or game for this week of adventure. Teamwork and sportsmanship as our ultimate goal. Plan to stretch your mind, body, and spirit as you match wits with friends and counselors. Enjoy!
If you have an adventurous spirit, this is the perfect pick for you. Spend the day with friends running the rapids on the Hudson river and discover how those rapids resemble the challenges of your everyday life. Trained & certified guides will accompany you through the heart pumping adrenaline action.
For avid horse fans that can saddle, walk, and proficiently jog a horse. Visit the stables five days as you learn to lope and improve your riding skills. This program is for experienced wranglers only.
