If you’re in high school and don’t want to spend your entire summer working, then turn your world around at Casowasco during this week of relaxation and extreme excitement. Each day is jam-packed with awesome activities like the NEW mountain bike park, sling shot range, the NEW G6 water tube, ultimate Frisbee, and Ga-ga competition. You will also have plenty of time to relax on the beach and in the game room.

NEW!Adirondack Extreme
Casowasco is going on a trip to Skye Farm, one of our sister sites in the Adirondack Park, for tubing on the Schroon River, a high-ropes course adventure, and hiking up Cat Mountain. At the end of your week, you will return to Casowasco to ride through our NEW mountain bike park.

Aqua Blast!
Blast off into this wet week packed with water games every day. Take a ride on the pontoon boat and learn how to paddle a canoe and kayak. Learn to snorkel as you search the shallow waters for treasure.

Beach Bums
Soak up the sun as you bum around the shores of Owasco Lake. Learn to SCUBA dive, play water polo, and learn to sail. You will have the chance to water ski or ride on the NEW G6!

Beginnings
Start off this adventure on the right foot! We’ve packed a ton of fun into this short program- crafts, swimming, a wagon ride, boating, wacky games, a campfire with s’mores, and that’s just the first day!

Bikes, Boards, and Blades
Get ready for mountain biking, skate boarding, and rollerblading thrills! Ride the trails on a Diggler, hit the ramps and hot rails, and visit Casowasco’s NEW mountain bike park. Plus, take a trip to a local skate park during the week.

BMW (Beautiful Mountain Women)
Girls: there is a BMW in all of us! Come to the Highlands for the best spa retreat Casowasco has ever seen. Jump into the Highlands mud pit, stay out late and sleep in, camp out under the stars one night, and enjoy your favorite desserts made over the campfire! Learn how God makes every girl gorgeous, no matter what she looks like.
Note: Beautiful Mountain Women has an 11:00am check out time on Friday, August 10.

Boots and Saddles
Saddle up and get ready for a great riding adventure. Travel to Heritage Stables and learn how to ride English style from experienced instructors. This program is for novice and beginning riders, as well as those who ride infrequently. It focuses on riding basics including saddling, walking, and trotting. You will travel to the stables four times.

Buggin’ Out!
Sleep out, camp out, cookout, and bug out! Catch, study, and start your own collection of some of the most unique creatures in nature…BUGS! You will also travel to the Cayuga Nature Center to see amazing bugs in action.

Camp Echo
This winter, Casowasco campers will spend 3 jam-packed days cheering in the arrival of 2013 with the fire blazing and the snowplow ready. Play an intense game of Jack Frost, sled down the hill at Mt. Tabor, rock out to your favorite songs during worship, and count down to 2013 as the balloons fall from the sky. Sign up early for the most rockin’ New Year’s Eve celebration around!

Camp Getaway
Explore New York State on trips you help to plan once you arrive at camp and travel to a new destination of your choice each day. Past trips have included the MOST, Enchanted Forest Water Safari, 1000 Islands, laser tag, Seabreeze, and the Ithaca Science Center.

Campolodeon
You will get to do a little bit of all the camp activities that make Campo the best place to be! Don’t forget the crazy Campo Carnival, wacky water games, super slippery slime, the Skittle Skattle Battle, and our ice cream breakfast. Plus gear up for the super secret events that we can’t tell you about until you get here!

Casowasco Olympics
Gear up for this Olympic season by challenging your teammates at a variety of sports including soccer, basketball, ultimate Frisbee, volleyball, and more! Sign up for individual events like the disc golf tournament, mountain biking, and archery. All sports include basic level instruction, game fundamentals, and scrimmages. The older group will travel to Champions for Life for indoor soccer!

Club Casowasco
Join us this year at the coolest Club around. A custom schedule will be created just for Club that includes the activities you want to do. Make desserts over the campfire, visit the Highlands and ride the Digglers, ride through the NEW mountain bike park, get blobbed, and create pieces of artwork. It’s up to you when you visit the Club.

Director’s Invitational
A Casowasco CEL event.
By invitation only: The best leadership exploration event around. Participants will learn to use their leadership skills for God’s glory. First time participants must be nominated by their churches or other local organizations. Alumni may register using the enclosed registration form and procedure. For more information or a nomination form, please contact Casowasco!
Early-bird, sibling, and refer-a-friend discounts do not apply. First time nominee fees are paid in full by the nominating agency. Alumni may request sponsorship from their local church if they wish. There is no expectation that churches will be able to sponsor them.

Doodle Bugs
Buzz around our Art Attic creating pieces of artwork each day. Design your own scrapbook, make jewelry, use Sculpey© clay, dip candles, and more! Make it and display it at your very own art show on Friday for your friends and family.

Extreme Livin’
Come for a week of extreme adventure and participate in thrilling activities each day. Drift away on a whitewater rafting trip, ride the Molecule, ride through our NEW mountain bike park, and challenge yourself at a high ropes course!

Family Camp
Summertime is the perfect opportunity for families to take a break from their busy lives and spend some time focusing on each other and their journey with the Lord. The beauty of Family Camp is that it is flexible. There is time to relax and to enjoy planned activities such as swimming and boating, tubing, archery, wagon rides, hiking, and scavenger hunts. Each day our staff will lead activities for the kids so parents can have some quiet time.

Father-Son Adventure
Casowasco’s Father & Son Adventure is an opportunity for fathers to spend quality time with their sons in the great outdoors. While at camp you will be able to experience hiking, fishing, canoeing, the archery and sling shot ranges, and kayak races, to name a few of your options. Fathers will come away encouraged and equipped with practical new tools for your role as a dad, as well as good times with other fathers. Sons will have cherished memories of quality time with dad. For fathers with sons 4-13 years old.

Fishin’ for Fun
Bait a hook, catch and release, and have a "reel" good time. Learn about Jesus, the Master Fisherman, and improve your casting from land and from a boat.

Each day you will be guided in developing acting skills and practice exercises that will help you vocally project, physically tell stories, and connect with your character. GPG (God’s Precious Gems)
Ladies- don’t miss this amazing week with just the girls. We will discover what real beauty is all about and what it means to be one of God’s Precious Gems. We'll have a visit from a beauty consultant, design your own jewelry, and stay up late at a slumber party one night.

NEW!Guys with Grills
Charcoal or gas? BBQ sauce or dry rub? And what is mesquite, anyway? The Guys with Grills Retreat at Casowasco Camp and Retreat Center gives you the perfect opportunity to invest in your relationship with God and spend time around the grill and campfire with other men. Cook most of your meals outdoors as you learn new techniques for grilling an assortment of meat, the difference between cuts of beef, and how to use a smoker. Participate in a variety of recreational activities such as fishing, hiking, boating, archery, and disc golf.

Kaleidoscope
Stick your nose into all of the explosive activities that make Casowasco the best place to spend your summer. You’ll go non-stop with swimming, blobbing, playing wacky games, crafts, boating, fishing, and testing your skills at the sling shot range. Explore Owasco Lake on the pontoon boat and visit the Highlands on a wagon ride!

Kingdom Bound
Join us for Kingdom Bound - a 4-day Christian festival with awesome Christian bands, insightful seminars, meaningful worship experiences, and great fellowship. Travel to Darien Lake Theme Park for the week and camp out near the park during the event.

Little Explorers
Come explore Casowasco inside and out. Follow clues to learn what your next activity will be: swimming, hiking, boating, crafts, games, even a scavenger hunt.

Mother-Daughter Getaway
Casowasco’s Mother Daughter Getaway gives moms and daughters the opportunities to play, talk, eat, and laugh together. With all of the distractions left behind, moms and their little girls will be able to focus on each other. The relaxed schedule includes activities such as canoeing, a variety of multi age crafts, archery, a tea party, scavenger hunts, swimming, and the Blob. For mothers with daughters ages 4-13.

Motor Madness
Do you like motors and engines? Build and take home your own radio control car. Race go-karts, use remote control boats at the Highlands Pond, and remote control helicopters in the field. See some classic sets of wheels at a cruise-in and get greasy.

This fast and furious mountain biking adventure will spin your summer around. Hit the boardwalks, ramps, and teeter-totters every day at our NEW mountain bike park. Plus you will ride the Digglers through the Highlands, practice your aim at the sling shot range, and work as a team on the challenge course. Bring your own bike or borrow one of ours.

Muddapalooza
The sloppiest, messiest, MUDDIEST time you’ve ever had at camp! This is Highlands adventure with lots of – you guessed it – MUD! Make mud candles, create mud sculptures, and play messy mud games like Tug-o-mud, Mad-Mud-Mania, and Muddowacka.

Quilt by Faith Retreat
Quilters understand with every stitch how scraps of fabric can come together to make something wonderfully new and striking with a little time, imagination, and love. The Quilt by Faith Retreat is a weekend dedicated to providing women a quiet space away from daily routines to work on favorite quilting projects, connect with other quilters of faith, and invest in their relationship with God. This weekend will include times of devotion, a trip to a local quilt shop, a visit from a massage therapist, a service project benefiting children, and lots of time to sew. Qualified leaders will teach a variety of mini classes on quilting techniques. All levels of quilting experience are welcome.

SOLID Youth Retreat 2013
A Casowasco MYP event.
Attention youth leaders- we know putting together a dynamite retreat can be quite a challenge. Casowasco’s SOLID Youth Retreat is here to help! We put together the weekend, including the schedule, the speakers, the music, and the awesome activities. All you need to do is hang out with your teens, encourage them to dig deep into their walk with God, and help them learn what it means to have a SOLID faith. Take part in dynamic worship, break away from the norm, and dive into an unforgettable experience.

Summershine
Live B.I.G. (your Belief in God) through music, Bible stories, swimming, crafts, games, and more as you learn more about God's purpose for your life. A 2:1 camper/counselor ratio is maintained (for Special Needs Campers).

The Edge
Experience the most heart-pounding activities you never thought you could do at camp, especially in the Highlands. Half of your time will be spent mountain biking, blobbing, climbing on a high ropes course, and riding the Molecule. The other half of your time will be spent hiking, building campfires, sleeping under the stars, and testing your skills at the sling shot range.

The Great Outdoors

The ReMix
Ladies and gentlemen, please join us as we welcome Jill Phillips & Andy Gullahorn back to the Casowasco stage! Jill (a DOVE Award winning artist) & Andy are Nashville-based singer-songwriters. Both are accomplished, skilled guitar players having toured with Bebo Norman, Sara Groves, Caedmon's Call, and Andrew Peterson. Join them for this ReMix to learn the ins and outs of song-writing, rehearsing & performing both vocally and on guitar. You will write and learn songs to perform for a star-studded concert for fellow campers, parents, family, and friends. C'mon up and join Jill and Andy at center stage!

Whodunnit?
Be a super sleuth and take part in solving a mystery! You will have the chance to explore the scene, talk to witnesses and suspects, gather clues, and put it all together to figure out “whodunnit?”

Wilderness Explorers
During this ultimate week in the Highlands, you will discover what it takes to live in the wild. Learn which plants are edible, build and cook over a fire, construct a shelter out of natural materials, and navigate your way with a compass, by the sun and by the stars.

Windjammers
Ahoy matey! Learn to sail on the waters of Owasco Lake. You’ll learn what cardinal points are, the difference between a jibe and coming about, and when to let go of the sheet when you’re out of control.

Wranglers
Walk, trot, and gallop through a week of learning to ride English style and care for your horse at Heritage Stables. For experienced riders only, Wranglers offers an advanced challenge while going to the stables all five days.

Can’t get enough of your favorite YC activities in one week? These two weeks of You Can’t, plus a Tweekend, will triple the action packed activities and You Can’t craziness. Focus on the same activities for two weeks or mix it up and try something new.
