“We are excited about the high quality and excellent variety of programs being offered at all six of our facilities this summer,” said Mike Huber, Associate Director of Camp & Retreat Ministries. “The CRM team, in collaboration with hundreds of volunteers, has created programs specifically designed for spiritual growth, birth and renewal.”  Each of our centers offers online registration for all programs, making it easy to register for a favorite program or find a new one to attend!

The Upper NY Camp & Retreat Ministries consists of six centers throughout the Upper New York Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. Summer Camp programs will be held at Aldersgate, Casowasco, Findley, Sky Lake, and Skye Farm.  Retreat programs and events will be held at Asbury and will include adult, clergy, family and youth retreats. The most action packed winter weekend at Casowasco is just around the corner- SOLID Youth Retreat. From our wicked-fast sledding hill, to our NEW game room, to the Late Night Breakfast “Pajama Jam,” your weekend will be filled with the best aspects of Casowasco, plus SNOW. Don’t forget Casowasco’s band, “InSide Out,” sign up for the Stre-Ball and Baggo tournaments, and design your Cob-Sled (Casowasco’s version of bob sledding…).

It takes serious faith to stand firm while the pressures of the world are swirling around you. Join Rev. Nick and Rev. Colleen Preuninger as they explore the importance of asking tough questions, listening for the answers, and living your life to the max. Life is challenging, but God has promised to equip you with everything you need. Break away from the norm and dive into an unforgettable experience as you discover what it means to have a SOLID faith.

Attention Youth Leaders!
We have designed the weekend, including the schedule, the speaker, the band and the awesome activities. All you need to do is hang out with your teens, encourage them to dig deep into their walk with God, and help them learn what it means to have a SOLID faith.

This winter Casowasco campers will not want to miss the most amazing New Year’s party this side of the equator!  Camp Echo offers all of the action packed stuff we love about camp… with SNOW!  We will spend 3 jam-packed days cheering in the arrival of 2011 with the fire blazing and the snowplow ready.  Play an intense game of Jack Frost, sled down the hill at Mt. Tabor, rock out to your favorite songs during worship, and count down to 2011 as the balloons fall from the sky.  For the second year in a row, Nels Cremean from In-Jest, Inc will join us for a gravity-defying juggling performance that will knock your socks off.  Plus get a sneak peek at Summer Camp 2011!  Some campers attend for the very first time with friends who had an awesome experience during the summer.  Last year Echo was sold out, so sign up early for the most rockin’ New Year’s Eve celebration around!
